Is Salah based on a real person?
Yes! Salah’s family are from Guyana (South America) but currently live in Qatar. All his books are inspired by true events and very big personality.

Who created the Salah Series?
The series was created by Dr Julia Theresa Kanhai, who wanted to inspire children to stay curious and believe in themselves. The beautiful illustrations are by Riyas Kuyyodi Mammu, who brings Salah’s world to life with warmth and imagination.
